My name is Terry Bugler from Christchurch in Dorset. Â On the 28th July I will be doing, weather permittin, a Sky Dive in aid of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
Why a Sky Dive? – I was watching a well know TV programme, whereby, celebrities were deposited into the Australian Jungle via this method. An off the cuff remark “Wouldn’t mind having a go at that†really dropped me in it.  The Sky Dive turned out to be my next birthday present from my husband Derek.
Fortunately, we have never had the necessity for the Air Ambulance Service. However, Derek and I do a great deal of Off Roading with our local Landrover Club. This takes us into places where it would be impossible for a road ambulance to attend in the event of an emergency. Â It is the same scenario with my daughter and granddaughter who are often horse riding in the depths of the New Forest. Â It is these activities which make us realise how vital the Air Ambulance could be if anything untoward should happen.
My boss is an ardent supporter and it was only through talking to him that I realised the Air Ambulance survives on donations to remain flying. Â I am really thrilled I can use the Sky Dive experience to support and raise money for such a worthwhile cause.
