Are you a keen cyclist and do you love getting out into the beautiful Hampshire countryside? If so, you might enjoy the Hampshire Hilly Hundred on Sunday 11 May, starting and finishing at Sparsholt College, Nr Winchester.
Now in it's 9th year, the Hampshire Hilly Hundred is one of the senior UK cyclosportives, and it remains an event organised by cyclists, for cyclists, pure and simple. The course offers the super challenging 100 mile route and the still testing 78 mile route and takes riders through some superb Hampshire countryside with amazingly little traffic. As you'd expect from it's name, there are plenty of hills, but it's not relentless. Facilities are excellent, with on site parking, refreshments, showers and changing rooms.
Sports massage therapists will be on hand to provide a massage to those with more achy legs after the ride, in return for a donation to HIOWAA. In addition, HIOWAA will be helping man the first feed station. If this sounds like your kind of event, you can find more information here.
