For those of you that are curious, I did go to management this past week and inform them of the POS that had knocked on my door. The manager told me that non one else had reported such a man, but that she would keep an eye out for him. As far as I know, he hasn’t come back, and I’ve encountered no suspicious character when walking out of work and post-evening shift workout. (We have workout facilities open 24/7 to employees only, which is a great way for me to work off the restlees energy I have after a shift is done.) Managment, like my parents, told me to call the police if I felt threatened, but the gun bloggers under “2nd Amendment” on my blogroll are fond of saying, “When help is minutes aways and your have seconds to react…” Yeeeeeaaaah, I think I’ll keep Mr. Kimber near the super-sturdy deadbolted door when the Pet is not home. If I see POS again, the door will be opened and POS will be told in easy-to-understand terms that I will blow his brains out if he dares knock upon my door without a *damn good* reason.
For those of you affected by the storms in the southern parts of the United States: You’re in my thoughts, and I hope you and your loved ones have at least pulled through without injury.
