November 5 is the busiest night of the year for Greater
Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, with hundreds of calls for help
made by the public.
From bonfires that have got out of hand to fires caused by
fireworks, the evening can cause upset and in some cases have life
changing consequences, which is why the Service and partner
organisations work so hard to encourage safety steps are taken.
This year the public can get its greatest insight yet into the
work fire crews do on Bonfire Night as we tweet live from fire
engines across Greater Manchester.
