GREATER Manchester Fire and Rescue Authority needs to save £14.79 million from its budget by 2020 – with 78% of it in the first two years. We have now published our Draft Corporate and Integrated Risk Management Plan 2016‐2020, which sets out how we propose to make these savings.
The plan also fulfils our statutory requirements for an Integrated Risk Management Plan, which summarises how we deal with all the fire and rescue related risks that affect Greater Manchester.
You can view the plan and/or a summary document below.
A public consultation began on Thursday, February 11, 2016, and during this time we would like as many people as possible to read the plan and provide feedback, comments or ideas. You can do this by completing a short survey HERE.
The consultation and survey will close on Thursday, May 5, 2016.
If you have any questions about the consultation, the process and our planned approach, please contact GMFRS' Consultation and Engagement Officer, Roland Howard.
