I have heard a few whispers of upcoming campaigns but nothing in stone yet, hence the reason I am not going to post them up until we have further clarification. In saying this, I imagine that they are going to be a as quick as GMCs were and only open for a day or two at the very most, so you will need to be quick.
We cannot stress enough that if you are serious about becoming firefighters, you need to be better prepared for it from the start and be as armed with as much information as possible, all of which is available on the newly launched site. Our success rate is proving to be quite high now.

For those of you who are just embarking on the idea of becoming firefighters and feel as though you need to get a little fitter, our new fitness section is growing all the time and the information provided is extremely valuable. Above all the information is just sat there, free of charge, waiting to be read.
On a final note, nationally 1978 was a year when fire brigades up and down the country changed in terms of size and number of firefighters. Those firefighters are now reaching 30 years service, and whilst all that experience is leaving, it needs to be replaced, so I suspect that the coming years may provide opportunities for those wanting to join the Fire and Rescue service the chance to.
