Thousands of students have graduated from training centers in Helmand province at Lashkar Gah.

Helmand Governor Mohammad Gulab Mangal also participated in the graduation ceremony and said:
“Not only we prepared opportunities of Jobs for the male but also we took important steps for the women regarding several fields in the province.
“One of the several opportunities for the female is the training centers which are established for the women in Lashkar Gah city and Gereshk district and around six-hundred females students were graduated from the training center from several fields today in Lashkar Gah city.”
“We try to develop similar programs in the province for the training of the youths.”
Meanwhile 2,100 male students were graduated from the educational and other fields training center in Safian area of Lashkar Gah city. The Helmand Governor gave graduation certificates to those students who studied in the training center for six months. Mercy Corps reported:
“In total 8,500 students male and female were trained by the Mercy Corps’s training centers in different fields this year in Lashkar Gah, Gereshk and four other districts of Helmand province.”
The Corps also reported that:
“We plan to lay the process to those areas of Helmand where these programs are not prepared yet.”
Some of the line ministers for Helmand province also participated in the graduation ceremony and several pieces of equipment were given to the student according to their field at the conclusion of the ceremony.
