Police are appealing for information following several incidents of indecent exposure in Widnes today (Friday 11 April 2014).
A man exposed himself on three occasions – at 6am outside a business premises on Widnes Road, at about 6.45am in Victoria Park on Birchfield Avenue and just after 8am on Shakespeare Road at the crossroad with Tennyson Road.
The man is described as white and in his mid 20s. He had short dark hair, a slim build and was wearing dark clothes. He had paint splatters over his clothing.
A fourth incident took place on Crow Wood Lane at about 1.15pm. The man is described as wearing white shorts with a black top. Officers believe this may be the same person responsible for the earlier incidents.
The man did not attempt to touch the victims in any of the incidents.
Sergeant Keith Logan of Widnes Neighbourhood Policing Unit said: “We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incidents or who was in the area at the time and witnessed anyone acting suspiciously to please get in touch.
“Anyone with any information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 485 of 11 April 2014.
“Information can also be left anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.”
