Appeal After Two Stabbed in Vauxhall

Detectives are appealing for information after two door supervisors were stabbed in Vauxhall.
Police were called to Fire nightclub in Parry Street, SW8 by London Ambulance Service at 01:40hrs on Saturday, 26 March, following reports of a fight.
Officers attended and found two men in their twenties suffering from stab injuries. Both men worked at the venue as door supervisors.

Police officers administered first aid prior to the arrival of London Ambulance Service. Both men remain in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Officers from Lambeth CID are investigating. No arrests have been made at this stage but enquiries are ongoing. This is not believed to be gang related at this time.
Chief Inspector Roy Smith from Lambeth borough police said:
“I urge anyone who has any information in relation to this incident, no matter how insignificant you may feel it to be, to contact us.
“Police officers responded within minutes of the call being received and there will be an increased police presence in and around Vauxhall this weekend.â€
