Appeal for Witnesses Following Sexual Assault of Basingstoke Taxi Driver

Police are appealing for information after a taxi driver was sexually assaulted in Basingstoke.
The female taxi driver picked up two men from outside The Queens Arms in Basingstoke town centre in the early hours of Friday March 25.
When she dropped off the first man, the other man sexually assaulted her over her clothing, causing some bruising.

The man is described as being Asian, of a skinny build, aged between 18 and 25 and with very dark brown or black hair, which was longer on the top and at the back but shaved at the sides.
He was approximately 5ft tall and wearing a light coloured bomber jacket with a zip and a t-shirt underneath.
Police Constable Kate Towerton said: “We would like to speak to anyone who saw a man matching this description in the town centre prior to getting into the taxi close to The Queens Arms or on the A339 at around 5am on the morning of Good Friday.â€
