An Investigation Underway After Serious Assault in Preston

April 9, 2016, 4:27 pm

POLICE are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted on Selborne Street Frenchwood Preston on Friday 8th April 2016.

At around 10.05 pm on Friday 8th April the 61 year old victim was on Selborne Street when he was approached by a group of approximately six or seven individuals when he was subjected to a vicious and sustained assault.

The offenders are described as wearing dark coloured clothing. As a result of the assault the victim sustained a fractured skull.
