CCTV Appeal Launched After Colne Robbery

Around 7.30pm on April 12, the victim was walking with another man on Leeds Road when a red and black Mini stopped near the pair.
After a brief conversation at the roadside, the driver drove away, before turning the car around and driving towards both men.
The pair ran away before becoming separated.

The vehicle pursued the 22-year-old man in an alleyway behind Edward Street before the driver and a male passenger left the car.
Both men followed the man into Lansbury Place before assaulting him and taking his bag. The men were both disturbed and ran back to the car before driving away.
The victim suffered bruising and reported the incident to police.
Earlier in the evening, officers received a report of suspicious circumstances in Haslingden.
Around 6.50pm, a man approached a property in the Sandown Road area and asked the homeowner for help in moving a vehicle.
The homeowner refused and the driver drove away in a red and black Mini.
Police would like to speak to this man, pictured, in connection with the incident.
Det Con Lee Walker, of Burnley CID, said: “We are appealing for information following a robbery in Colne and a report of suspicious circumstances in Haslingden.
“A 22-year-old was assaulted in a nasty attack and we are keen to find those responsible.
“We are particularly keen to trace this man pictured and would appeal to anyone who recognises this man to contact police.â€
