A 22-year-old man from Liverpool has been charged with attempted kidnap and production of Cannabis.
Robert Beveridge, from Liverpool , was arrested on suspicion of attempted kidnap on Tuesday 22ndÂ April 2014 after officers were called to address in Eagles Way, Runcorn, at 7.30pm following reports of a disturbance.
Officers then went on to search an address in Makin Street, Liverpool, where 33 cannabis plants were discovered along with a significant amount of cash.
Beveridge appeared at Runcorn Magistrates on 25thÂ April charged with attempted kidnap and production of Cannabis. He was remanded in custody and will appear at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday 6thÂ May.
