Police are investigating after seven cars had tyres damaged overnight in Newcastle.
They happened happened between midnight and 8.45am, on Thursday, May 15 when tyres were damaged on seven cars parked in three streets by an offender using a sharp implement which caused punctures.
Two vehicles were damaged in Cumbria Walk, two in Vallum Way and three in Surrey Place.
Police are appealing for witnesses anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact them. Â Additional patrols are being carried out in the area and resident are asked to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to police straight away.
