GMP’s series of 60 Second Security videos have had more than 60,000 views.
The videos were launched last year and feature a variety of security tips all in 60 seconds.
The videos feature easy step by step crime prevention tips, advice on products and how to install and use them.
Topics covered by the series of videos have included light timers, personal attack alarms, shed security and mobile phone theft.
PC Chris Hayden who has fronted the 60 Second Security videos said: “I am really pleased that 60 second security has been well received by the public and our partner agencies, not just in Greater Manchester but across the country.
“We now have a good library of videos covering a wide range of crimes and issues but will be looking to add to this in the next couple of weeks with some new releases. Subjects due to be covered include social media, vehicle security and holiday time.
“The format is short and snappy and only lasts 60 seconds. Most of the advice can be followed with little or no money and could make the difference between becoming a victim of crime or not.
“I would urge anyone out there to take a look at some of the videos on the dedicated website www.gmp.police.uk/60secondsecurity where they can all be found in one place. You never know it may help you!”
