Three shotguns and a Jaguar car were stolen from a house in Stockport.
Between 5pm on Tuesday 13 May 2014 and 4.40pm on Wednesday 14 May 2014, offenders broke into a house on Linney Road, Bramhall.
The house was searched and three shotguns along with some distinctive jewellery were stolen.
Detective Constable Nikki Price said: “The owner was not in the house at the time and has come back home to find his personal property stolen.
“The guns are described as 12 bore Rizzini over and under shotgun, 12 bore side by side shotgun and a 12 bore Leeson side by side shotgun.
“Jewellery taken included an 18 carat gold Waltham USA fob / pocket watch and a commemorative half size hunter style pocket watch on a 12 inch long gold chain. This had an inscription on it, maybe Ladysmith, relating to a South African horse race around the first World War and a gold necklace with the name “Jennalouise†cut into it.
“Also taken were three WW1 medals which were unique as they had the name W.O. NUTTALL on them.
“I would ask anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area over the two day period or who saw them leave the house in the car to contact us.â€
