Three boys have been arrested in connection with an arson attack in Gorton.
At around 9.30pm on Tuesday 13 May 2014 police were called to an address on Harvard Road to reports that a lit firework had been thrown through the letterbox.
Detective Constable Keith Gibbs said:
“This was a deliberate and callous attack where people could have been seriously injured.
“Fortunately an internal door was shut which undoubtedly prevented serious harm to the mother and her two daughters that were in the house.
“Three boys, aged 14, 16 and 17 have been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and remain in police custody for questioning.”
