Officers attended and established that witnesses reported that an incident had taken place and possible shots had been fired.
One man, 25, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Two men, 22 and 25, have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Detective Inspector Dave Turner of South Manchester division said:
“We believe that a man was shot at in broad daylight but he hasn’t come forward.
“If you are the victim we are urging you to get in touch. There is obviously a reason why you have not yet spoken to police and maybe you are scared to come forward. We want to reassure you that we will support you and the information you supply will be kept in the strictest confidence.
“If you are the man who witnessed what happened, or you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at that time, please contact police immediately.â€
