A 31-year-old man has today (Tuesday) been charged in connection with the stabbing of a Wolverhampton pub doorman last weekend.
Craig Birch, from Inkerman Street in Heathtown, will appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow (Wednesday) charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article.
The 38-year-old doorman remains in hospital in a critical condition.
Police were called to the Harp Inn on Walsall Street at around 2:45am last Saturday morning and found the 38-year-old with a knife wound to his body.
A 27-year-old woman remains on bail following her arrest on Monday.
