Police made the grim discovery on Tuesday evening (22 July) after emergency services were called to the fire on Fentham Road.

“The public’s response to our appeal for information has been encouraging and we have made progress with our enquiries. That said, I continue to urge people with any information which may help to call us.
“I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw the pink Audi in the minutes and hours before it was found alight on Fentham Road.”
Anyone who can help Det Chief Insp Hines should call him on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
