Police have released CCTV images of four men they would like to speak to after two men were assaulted in a bar in Blackburn last month.
The incident took place at around 3am on Sunday 3 August when two local men, aged 21 and 30 years, were assaulted in Liquid/Envy on St Peter Street. Both men sustained extensive facial injuries and were taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital. One of the men underwent surgery on a fractured eye socket and was also treated for a cut to the face which required stitches. The other victim received a broken nose in the attack which has also required surgery.
Police are keen to trace four men who were captured leaving the club on CCTV shortly after the incident took place.
DC Rachel Higson of Lancashire Police said: “This was a nasty attack which left the two victims with extensive injuries. I am particularly keen to trace the four men pictured on the CCTV images and I would urge anyone who recognises them to contact us. I would also appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this attack or who may have any information that could assist with our investigation to come forward.â€
