More people have been sentenced for drug offences following one of the biggest operations in the county in recent years. Dorset Police pro-actively targeted street level drug dealers in the Boscombe area of Bournemouth where there was a suspicion that drugs offences were being committed.
A total of 41 people were arrested and 36 have been charged, following the extensive operation, known as Operation Moped, to tackle drug misuse in the town.
The following sentences have been given so far this week:
On Tuesday 30 September 2014 at Bournemouth Crown Court Emmanuel Oyelumade, aged 40 and of Bournemouth, has received a three-year prison sentence for supplying crack cocaine.
On Thursday 2 October 2014 at Dorchester Crown Court:
Daniel Green, aged 32 and of Bournemouth, was given 27 month in prison for supplying heroin.
Salome Green, aged 24 and of Bournemouth, was handed a two-year prison sentence for supplying crack cocaine.
