Three teenagers have been charged after a man was stabbed in Bury.
Two 15 year olds, who cannot be named for legal reasons, and Kian Heap (28/11/1995) of Walmersley Road, Bury were charged with section 18 wounding with intent and violent disorder.
They were due before Bury Magistrates today Monday 6 October 2014.
An 18-year-old and 17-year old were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and bailed until 20 October 2014.
A 17-year-old arrested was released without charge.
At around 1.30am on Saturday 4 October 2014, a number of people were stood outside a house on Kingfisher Drive when they started to throw stones at the window.
A 22-year-old man walked outside and asked them to stop before he was hit with a stick. He returned to the house but stones were still being thrown.
The man walked back outside to remonstrate with them and gave chase.
When they reached a footpath at the back of Kingfisher Drive, the group turned on him and he was stabbed repeatedly.
