A 43-year-old man arrested on suspicion of theft in Potters Bar has been charged with an additional six offences following work by the Potters Bar and Shenley Safer Neighbourhood Team.
George Curmy, of the Vale in Cricklewood, was arrested for theft of sirloin steak worth Â£26 and a can of gin and tonic from the BP Service Station in High Street, Potters Bar on Monday (October 27). The items were stolen on October 14th.
Following further investigation by PC Paul Francis, he was further arrested and charged with having no car insurance, no car tax, driving other than in accordance with a licence, displaying a number plate failing to conform, possession of cannabis and possession of criminal property (cloned number plates and fake DVDs).
He has been given police bail and is due to appear at Central West Herts Magistrates Court on November 18, 2014.
