A woman who was arrested as part of Sussex Police’s Christmas crackdown on drink and drug-drivers has been found not guilty in court.
Patricia Dowe, 56, was arrested at 9.55pm on 24 December 2013 in Lancing Close, Polegate, by officers looking for people driving while over the limit.
Dowe, of The Ridge, Pound Green, was charged with drink-driving but has now been found not guilty when she appeared at Hastings Magistrates’ Court.
Every motorist charged with an offence during the campaign was named and Sussex Police is proactively releasing the results of each of their cases when they have gone to court.
A total of 135 people have been convicted of offences as part of the Christmas 2013 crackdown. A further five are still going through the courts.
