Another person has been sentenced for drug offences following one of the biggest operations in the county in recent years. Dorset Police pro-actively targeted street level drug dealers in the Boscombe area of Bournemouth where there was a suspicion that drugs offences were being committed.
Yesterday, Monday 24 November 2014, Nathan Panter-Pironi, aged 19 and from Bournemouth, appeared at Bournemouth Crown Court in respect of supplying heroin and crack cocaine on the streets of Boscombe. He was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
Nathan Panter-Pironi is the 26th person to be sentenced in respect of Operation Moped, with the defendants so far receiving cumulative prison sentences of 55 years and 7 months. There are a further 10 defendants who have entered guilty pleas and are progressing through the court system to sentencing.
