Officers in Christchurch are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after criminal damage was caused to a property in the town.
The incident happened some time between 8am and 4.30pm on Wednesday 19 November along Arcadia Road.
The offender threw a brick through the bay window of a property and is thought to have then cycled off on a silver BMX bicycle.
He is described as a man with dark hair, between the ages of 20 and 25 years. He was wearing a dark blue coat and a pair of baggy trousers.
Police Constable Jim Perks, of Christchurch police, said: â€œThis appears to be a random attack and has caused a great deal of distress and cost to the victims.
â€œI urge any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward as soon as possible.
â€œAll calls will be treated with the strictest confidence.â€
