The initial cause of death of a man and woman found at a property in Fetcham earlier this week has been established as stab wounds.
Officers were called to the house on The Copse at around 12.30am on Thursday, 27 November following a report of assault against two people at the location. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
Although formal identification has not yet taken place, the victims are believed to be Patrick and Gillian Kettyle, a married couple who lived at the property.
A man in his 30s who was arrested on Thursday morning at a property in Walton-on-Thames on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder has now been released with no further action taken against him.
Another man in his 30s who was arrested in Oxshott at around 6pm on the same day on suspicion of murder remains in police custody at this time.
