Police investigating car damages in Newcastle have charged two youths.
It happened overnight between Friday, December 5, and 9am on Saturday, December 6, when cars parked at Duxfield Road, Teviotdale Gardens and Cochrane Park Avenue, and Bosworth Gardens in Heaton were damaged.
The vehicles had wing mirrors damaged or smashed off.
Following enquiries two boys aged 15 were arrested on December 12 and subsequently charged with 14 offences of criminal damage. They will appear at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court on January 21.
Neighbourhood Sergeant Laura Douglas said: “Local officers carried out an investigation into these damages and I’d like to reassure people two teenagers have been arrested and are going through the court process.”
