Thames Valley Police has arrested one man in connection with a robbery at a Post Office in Risinghurst, Oxford, last night (30/12).
Shortly after 8pm a man entered the Post Office in Downside Road, threatened staff with a weapon and demanded money.
An amount of cash was taken from the till of the shop and the offender left on foot.
A second offender remained outside the shop. No one was injured during the incident.
A 28-year-old man from Oxford was arrested this afternoon (31/12) on suspicion of robbery and is currently in custody.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the robbery and anyone with any information is asked to call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
