A man has been charged after a woman was stabbed in Blackpool.
Andrew Tuley, 33, of Draycott Avenue, is charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article. He is due to appear before Blackpool Magistrates’ Court on Monday (January 5th)
Police were called following an incident outside an address on Dinmore Avenue in the resort at about 1am on Saturday when an altercation took place and a 37 year old woman was stabbed.
She suffered a number of knife wounds to the body, face and neck and was taken by ambulance to the Royal Preston Hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
