Family Statement: Chapeltown rail station death

The following statement and photo are issued by British Transport Police (BTP) on behalf of the family of Joshua Vaughan:

â€œSadly on Wednesday, 7 January, at around 9.15pm, our dearly loved son Josh Vaughan, aged 17, was struck by train and tragically died at Chapeltown railway station.

â€œWe would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes, support and floral tributes and would be most grateful if you could allow us to grieve privately.

â€œWe know Josh will be sadly missed by many people.â€
