Police in Birmingham have released a CCTV image of a man using a walking stick, who they want to trace after he threatened a woman with a knife.
The woman, aged 62, was approached and threatened while she was in public toilets in a Birmingham shopping centre.

The woman was attacked while in Newtown Shopping Centre at 12:30pm on January 3, 2015.
The man is described as being white, aged between 40-50 years and wearing a red hooded jacket. He also used a walking stick.
Detective Constable Stu Phillips from Bournville Lane CID said: ” The woman was approached by the man shown, who threatened her with a knife. The woman bravely took hold of the bladed part of the knife in order to disarm him but received superficial cuts as a result. I need to trace this man, this was an unprovoked incident, the man didn’t make any demands and in fact did not speak- his motive is unknown.
“I believe someone will recognise this man as he is quite distinctive. Anyone who can help should call police on 101 or call Crimestoppers confidentially on 0800 555 111.”
