Hertfordshire Constabulary is releasing images of two people they would like to speak to in connection with a burglary in Dark Lane, Cheshunt.
The incident occurred between 3.25pm and 4.20pm on Tuesday January 13. Access was gained to the back garden by way of a damaged fence panel and the offender/s has entered the house via the back door. They are believed to have been using a white van, which was parked on the pavement outside the neighbouring houses. Nothing was stolen during the burglary.
Police would like to speak to the men pictured in the CCTV images, as they may have information that could assist in the investigation.
Detective Constable Fiona Curson from the Broxbourne Local Crime Unit said: “Although no items were taken during the burglary, there was damaged caused to the back doors and the victims are understandably shaken by this intrusion into their home.
“At the time the burglary is thought to have taken place lots of people would have been walking past the house, so we are hopeful that someone would have seen something.â€
