A 20-year-old man from Wellington has been arrested in connection with a robbery at Oake Manor Golf Club in December and released on bail while enquiries continue.
He was also arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.
This is the second arrest relating to the robbery.
We were called at about 7.30pm on 14 December to a report of one masked man armed with a crowbar having ordered a member of staff to open the safe before escaping towards Wellington.
A large sum of money and number of cheques were taken whilst staff were preparing to close the clubhouse, but they were later recovered from an abandoned car following a pursuit.
