Detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a man in Newham.
Police were called at around 01:30hrs on Tuesday, 24 February, to a man suffering serious injuries on the Greenway in Newham.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. A man, believed to be aged around 30 years, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Work is ongoing to establish the man’s identity and inform next of kin.
The death is being treated as suspicious. A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
Newham officers are investigating together with colleagues from the Homicide and Major Crime Command, led by Detective Chief Inspector Ken Hughes.
Enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances. There have been no arrests.
