A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a woman in Kidbrooke, London SE3.
Police were called at 01:00hrs on Tuesday, 24 February, to a woman stabbed at an address in Langbrook Road, SE3.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. A woman, believed to be aged in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Enquiries continue to trace next of kin. A post mortem examination is expected to take place today.
Detective Inspector Mick Norman, from the Homicide and Major Crime Command leads the investigation.
A 63-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. He is currently in custody at a south London police station.
