Detectives investigating after shots were fired in Salford have arrested a man.
At about 5.50pm on Monday 23 February 2015, police were called to the junction of Lower Broughton Road and Frederick Street to reports of a firearms discharge.
Witnesses reported seeing two men on an orange motorbike firing shots from a handgun at a white van. Both the motorbike and the van left the scene before police arrived and no injuries have been reported.
Officers investigating the shooting have arrested a 22-year-old man who remains in custody.
Police are still appealing for information and are also urging the driver and any occupants of the white van to come forward and assist with enquiries.
