A man has been sentenced to over four years in prison and been ordered to sign the sex offenders register for 10 years for possession with intent to supply Amphetamine (Class B) and possession of indecent images.
Michael Shaw (09/08/1968) of Copsterhill Road, Oldham was sentenced today to four years and two months in prison and ordered to sign the sex offenders register for 10 years today â€“ Friday 27 March 2015 – at Minshull Street Crown Court.
In the early hours of Saturday 6 September 2014, Shaw was stopped whilst on his pedal bike on Honeywell Lane, Oldham by police who were patrolling the Hathershaw area of the town following a spate of burglaries.
He was found to be carrying a number of tools that could potentially be used for a burglary and unable to account for his whereabouts over the previous few hours and so he was arrested....
