Detectives investigating robberies at a betting shop and bank have today, Thursday, 2 April, released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak with.
At approximately 18.00hrs on 25 November, a man walked into William Hill on Wilton Way, E8, told a cashier he had a gun and calmly demanded money.
An amount of cash was handed over.
The next day, at approximately 10.55hrs, a man fitting the same description walked into Barclays Bank, Stamford Hill, N16 where, after queuing for counter services, he threatened a cashier.
The cashier gave him money and he quickly left the premises.
The suspect is believed to be aged between 25 and 35 years old, with a London accent.
He is described as a light-skinned black man with short afro hair and a short beard.
