Police are appealing for information and witnesses following three robberies in Kenton in which a handgun was used to threaten victims.
The first robbery took place at around 10:50hrs on 29 April.
The lone suspect approached a man in the street in Gooseacre Lane.
The 38-year-old victim was punched and kicked and his wallet was stolen.
On Tuesday, 5 May, the same suspect committed a similar offence on a 17-year-old male at around 17:00hrs in Hillview Avenue.
On this occasion, however, the suspect was armed with a handgun and his face was covered with a bandana.
He was accompanied by a second male suspect, who was unarmed.
A wallet and phone were stolen.
A third offence was carried out at the same location at 14:00hrs the following day.
