Ikhlaque Nazir Chohdry, 58 (20.10.56) of Emerald Road, NW10 was today, Monday, 11 May, sentenced at Harrow Crown Court to 20 years in prison.
Chohdry had previously been found guilty of five counts of rape of a female and six counts of indecent assault on Friday, 8 May.
Detectives from the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command launched an investigation in April 2013 after an allegation of non-recent sexual abuse was made to police.
Inquiries established that the victim had been attacked a number of times at an address in Wembley when she was aged between seven and twenty.
Chohdry was arrested in connection with the investigation in May 2013 and subsequently charged on 23 July 2014.
