Two men are being sought by detectives after a student was lured to a flat in Birmingham city centre and held against his will while he was robbed and burglars broke into his house.
The 25-year-old met up with a woman he made contact with online in February and was taken to a flat in the Abacus building on Bradford Street.
The woman told him she needed to pick something up from a friend, but once inside the apartment the door was locked and the young man was prevented from leaving.
He was held at the flat for around nine hours, during which time he was forced to hand over his mobile phone and his wallet.
The man’s house keys were also taken.
While held at the flat, the woman returned to his apartment and took his laptop, games console, watches, designer clothing and passports.
