A Manchester gay village bar owner Â has today, Monday 1st June 2015, been sentenced to 27 months in prison at Manchester Crown court after pleading guilty on the day his trial was due to start to threeÂ offences of indecent assault which were committed at the Bar Centre Stage on Bloom Street in Manchester between Â 06.58 and 07.39am on May 4th 2014.
The court heard that the the paths of the victim and Ashton had crossed as at some point he had been drinking in the bar with his parents and that the victimÂ had been offered a job to pay his tuition fees at the time of the assault he was on his second shift.
The court heard that both Ashton and the victim where in the bar and Â Ashton instructed the victim to make a bed type structure out of bars stalls.
