A man who murdered his neighbour as she walked to work, has today been sentenced to life.
Trevor Gibbon, 48 (30.07.1966) of Windsor Crescent, Harrow was sentenced today, Tuesday 30 June at the Old Bailey to life imprisonment and will serve a minimum of 28 years Gibbon was found guilty at the Old Bailey on 25 June 2015 of the murder of Alison Morrison in Alexandra Avenue on the morning of 18 December 2014, following a nine day trial.
Detective Inspector Jamie Stevenson, who led the investigation for the Homicide and Major Crime Command, said: “Despite the overwhelming evidence against him, Trevor Gibbon has put the family of Alison through the ordeal of a trial during which they have had to re- live the events of that terrible day.
