A man has been jailed for the attempted murder of his ex-partner while her three young children were asleep upstairs.
Connor Fox, 38 of no fixed abode, was jailed for 20 years, with a further five years to be served on extended license at Inner London Crown Court today, Tuesday 14 July, after pleading guilty to attempted murder.
Fox will only be eligible for parole after serving a minimum two-thirds of his sentence.
On 24 April 2014, at approximately 23:30hrs police were called to Cleve Road, Sidcup, to reports of a woman having been stabbed.
Upon arrival officers found a 24-year-old woman suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Officers administered first aid until the London Ambulance Service arrived.
The victim had been at home with her partner when Fox had forced his way into their home by kicking open the kitchen door.
