Attendees must register for limited places in service for Paul McKeever in London.
Details of a memorial service for the late Police Federation Chairman Paul McKeever, who died suddenly two weeks ago just before he was due to retire, have been confirmed.
The service will take place at Southwark Cathedral in south London on February 9 from 12pm and the Fed is asking those interested in attending to register their interest by e-mailing [email protected] as spaces are limited.
A private funeral service will take place the day before on February 8.
The service is expected to last roughly an hour and 15 minutes.
There is no restriction on those who can attend and the Fed said uniform would be optional for officers.
The Fed has said attendees are advised to arrive between 10.30am and 11.30am due to the area being busy on Saturdays.
A Fed spokesman said the remainder of the details of the service would be finalised next week, including whether there would be any kind of event afterwards.
