I’m afraid this announcement only arrived late yesterday evening but may be of interest to many of you. (David is pictured below left):
On Friday 11th October 2013, starting at 7.30pm, at Bourne Hall (Begonia Room), Spring Street, Ewell I am providing a talk entitled ‘Murder Squad: A History of Homicide Investigation’
The talk is a review of some of the most influential or key cases of the past two hundred years and their importance in the development of Murder Investigation. Because this talk is in Surrey, I am making sure that a number of Surrey cases feature. I feel this may be of interest to my fellow retirees and would ask that anyone interested in buying tickets visits my website www.davidchave.co.uk where they will find a link on the Events page to purchase tickets. Tickets are £8.00, plus £1.13 booking fee. There will be some available on the night, subject of course to whether there are some left by then.
For those who don’t know me, I was a Surrey officer for over thirty years and spent many years on Major Crime Investigation. I have an interest in murder investigation history and provide talks not only to the public, but also to groups (Surrey and Middlesex WIs) Universities, Colleges and Schools on other issues such as Offender Profiling in Murder Investigation, DNA profiling in Murder Investigation, Murderous Women and murder case studies.
My thanks in anticipation.
