A friend has asked if anyone can help with the below photo, which is of good photographic quality and most interesting.
He said “Found this in my loft. I know it is Leith Police and think it is around 1905. Leith later became Part of Edinburgh City then Lothian and Borders.
Great photo. Presume the big guy is the Chief Constable or Lord Provost. Moustaches were compulsory I think. Also like the fur rug they put down at the front. Any info… please comment”
